Award-winning editor specializing in creative offline editorial for brand content, documentaries, and narrative work. With 20+ years of experience directing and programming independent film festivals in the United States, Erik brings strong visual storytelling skills to the timeline.

His commercial clients include AmSouth Bank, UAB Health System, HGTV, Alabama Ballet, and Blockbuster Video, and his work twice won Best Editing at the Birmingham Advertising Awards, along with three consecutive Best of Show awards. He also cut the indie feature RODE TO NOWHERE (dir. Neil Butler) and the Billy Bob Thornton short THE LAST OF THE REAL COWBOYS (dir. Jeff Lester). Most recently Erik cut the Adia Victoria episode of the upcoming music documentary series ANALOG DRIVE, hosted by Steve Gorman (The Black Crowes), and was an additional editor on the Emmy Award-nominated documentary THE HOBBY. He cuts on Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
